CARBONIZATION TECHNOLOGY

ECOAID CARBONIZATION TECHNOLOGY

CLOSED LOOP CARBONIZATION SYSTEM

The closed-loop carbonization system creates biochar and activated charcoal from bamboo and other benign raw materials by heating any biomass (including fruits and agricultural waste) to 450°C in an oxygen-free oven and converting it into 99% carbon.

Biochar is a stable solid and can endure in soil for thousands of years. It retains water, helps to aerate the soil and promotes microbial activity. Activated Charcoal is made only from bamboo, coconut, or coffee husks, typically charred with some additional material such as chloride salts.

This creates a powder or granules that have a porous structure and so much additional surface area created during the activation process, that 50 grams of activated charcoal has 17.5 times more surface area than a full-sized football field. This porosity and immense area facilitate the capture and absorption of toxins and impurities – making Activated Charcoal ideal for use in filters, cosmetics, and medicines.
