ABOUT US

OUR JOURNEY

Our journey started in 2017 with the search for a possible application use for thousands of acres of Bamboo growing in Jamaica. As our investigation expanded, it took us to Guatemala and the plantation of the Salan Family.

We learned from Mario Salan that their family had over 15 years of growing different bamboo species across plantations in Central America, including the specie Bambusa vulgaris growing in Jamaica. The Salans showed us how bamboo should be managed, harvested, dried,  and stored.

We learned that bamboo is an excellent alternative to hardwood in producing Activated Charcoal, Biochar, and cooking charcoal.

BUSINESS MODEL

Our business model was designed around our business objectives. This approach consolidates our supply chain from research and development to market distribution.

This will reduce market cycle time and remove unnecessary markups that do not add value to the end-user purchase. This enables ECOAID to achieve high-quality products at a very competitive price.

This strategy allows ECOAID to deliver all aspects of quality control with its equity partners’ plant biotechnology research, product development, manufacturing, packaging, and distribution.

ADVANTAGES OF OUR MICROECONOMIC MODEL

When the business model was created, it had specific goals in mind. ECOAID needed to be a low-cost, carbon-neutral manufacturer of products that could be highly competitive in global markets.

We deliver the following to our customers:

1) Diversity of Product Research and Development

We are focused today on Agriculture, Home & Garden, Purification of Water and Air and Health Care Products. We have done our due diligence on the market, and we can deliver faster,  better-quality products for less than our competitors

2) Pricing

Selecting Jamaica as our factory location provides unit cost raw materials, geographical proximity to markets, and access to skilled and educated employees, which keep our costs down

3) Quality ControL

The management of our products, from manufacturing to distribution, allows us to provide ongoing quality control at each stage of the Go- to – Market Cycle.
